Cinnamon Teals

Photography. The clear water of the local wetlands attracts many species of birds in the springtime. From the glossy ibis, to mallard ducks, to the black-capped night heron the habitat is full of larger colorful birds. Here a couple of Cinnamon Teals paddle through the water beneath blue sky with a few scattered clouds. The vivid sky lends character to ripples of the surface and the wake of the birds.
